Summary
This position is located in Denali National Park and Preserve, in the Facilities Management Division. This is a Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment. Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will be paid if the selectee lives outside of the local commuting area and is otherwise eligible for reimbursement of relocation expenses in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulation.
Major Duties
This position is responsible for supervising and scheduling routine and emergency equipment maintenance of all park vehicles, equipment and generators. Manages Park fleet for availability and efficient utilization for all divisions. Provides leadership for base funded permanent, seasonal and special project crews, and makes decisions regarding technical and financial aspects of projects and duties assigned. Implements best management practices, selects materials and tools needed to accomplish responsibilities in accordance with Park management directives, state and federal regulations.
