Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
The Mission
Crusoe is on a mission to align the future of computing with the future of the climate. As part of the Digital Infrastructure Group (DIG), we are building and operating the foundational infrastructure powering the next generation of AI and cloud computing. We don't just build data centers; we build the sustainable backbone of the digital economy by capturing wasted energy and turning it into powerful computational resources.
The Role
As the Analyst, Investments, you will be the quantitative engine behind the investment lifecycle of Crusoe’s data center portfolio. This is a high-visibility, high-output role where you will own the numbers from initial underwriting through construction, lease-up, and stabilized operations. You’ll interface regularly with DIG leadership, Finance, Capital Markets, and external JV partners to drive capital allocation and board-level decisions.
What You’ll Do
Architect the Models: Build, maintain, and stress-test sophisticated financial models for data center developments and investments across the full project lifecycle, from greenfield underwriting to exit.
Drive Capital Raising: Support corporate capital efforts by preparing financial model components for roadshow decks, managing investor data rooms, and executing closing models.
Executive Reporting: Own the preparation of investment reporting materials for internal leadership, the Board of Directors, and external institutional JV partners.
Analyze Performance: Track active development projects, providing budget vs. actual analysis, milestone tracking, and variance commentary to keep projects on course.
Underwrite Growth: Develop underwriting models for cloud and hyperscale customer contracts, conducting deep-dive revenue, COGS, and return analysis at the asset level.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Real Estate, Energy, Design, Construction, and Operations teams to ensure financial inputs reflect ground-level realities.
What You Bring
Experience: 2–4 years in real estate investment, corporate development, or infrastructure finance (ideally at an investment bank, REIT, developer, or institutional investor).
Technical Mastery: Advanced Excel skills are a must. You build models from scratch, can model complex partnership waterfalls, and can explain every formula to a senior stakeholder.
Sector Knowledge: Experience with data center, industrial, or infrastructure asset classes is strongly preferred.
Communication: Elite slide/deck skills—you have the ability to translate dense financial data into crisp, executive-ready presentations.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering).
Mindset: A high-ownership, detail-oriented approach. You thrive in fast-paced environments where the "ground truth" of a project evolves quickly.
