REQUIREMENTS

To excel as an Electrical Construction Wireman, the following qualifications are essential:

2+ of experience performing residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work
Familiarity with the Connecticut Electrical Code and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Knowledge of electrical principles and concepts, including the ability to interpret schematic wiring diagrams and new construction drawings
Basic mathematical and reading comprehension abilities
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a group
Ability to anticipate and analyze problems, exercise independent judgment, and take corrective actions
Knowledge of applicable safety rules and the hazards of electricity, along with familiarity with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Valid driver's license with the ability to commute all around Connecticut with your own transportation
