Leap29 are working with a global company based in Europe, with Co-Development activities across Texas, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Georgia, and Canada for Solar and Battery Storage.
We're on the lookout for a Head of Business Development to spearhead Co-Development partnerships, strategy, and North American grid development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic partnership cultivation: identify and forge strategic alliances for solar and energy storage co-development ventures.
- Market expansion: analyze trends, pinpoint clients, and devise plans for market growth. Execute business strategies to seize opportunities and boost market share.
- Project management: oversee projects from conception to implementation, collaborating across Europe and the U.S. to deliver top-notch solutions.
- Negotiation and deal closure: lead negotiations for agreements aligned with business goals, fostering revenue growth.
- Land acquisition expertise: identify prime locations for projects, collaborating with communities and agencies for sustainable energy development.
- Project development leadership: guide projects from ideation to reality, showcasing end-to-end development expertise.
- Grid connection mastery: navigate North American grid complexities, optimizing integration for efficient clean energy delivery.
- Regulatory compliance: stay ahead of regulatory changes, ensuring smooth navigation through the permitting process.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in solar and energy storage business and project development.
- Successful management of solar and energy storage projects.
- Experience in steering Co-Development partnerships aligned with mission and goals.
- Project management proficiency.
- Results-oriented strategic thinking.
- Experience in originating Co-Development project pipelines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
