Summary
This position is located in Glacier National Park, in the Facility Management Division. The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is March-October, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: June
Major Duties
These temporary summer seasonal positions will perform simple and routine work involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment, and related utilities, requiring the use of a variety of trade practices associated with occupations such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, and other related trades. Provides routine maintenance on park facilities including minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work. Assist higher graded maintenance employees in the performance of maintenance tasks. Safely and effectively, uses hand power tools required for the job and has the ability to maintain these tools properly.
