Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist with EHS documentation (SOPs, permits, inspection logs) and assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and environmental impact.
- Help deliver safety training materials and toolbox talks, and participate in incident investigations by collecting records, timelines, and contributing to root-cause analysis.
- Conduct assessments for routine tasks and new processes, recommend control measures, and assist in updating job safety analyses (JSAs)
- Support ergonomic assessments and improvement efforts.
- Assist with job based risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled or will be enrolled in an accredited college
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to act independently and manage projects from initiation to completion
- Ability to operate with high amount of confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficient computer skills
