- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding or coursework related to workplace safety, OSHA regulations, hazard identification, or environmental compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate workplace conditions and identify potential hazards.
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data, particularly using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail when documenting safety observations, completing risk assessments, and tracking corrective actions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and leadership teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn and develop practical EHS experience.
-Previous internship, work experience, or academic projects related to manufacturing, safety programs, or environmental compliance is preferred but not required.
