We areseekinga dynamic, motivatedSenior EnvironmentalProject Managerto oversee and drive robust growth in the West region within our Environmental Assessment & Remediation group.
OurEnvironmental Assessment & Remediation(EAR)practice focuses on site assessment/remedial investigations and design, environmental regulatory compliance and support, feasibility studies, emerging contaminants, and property transaction due diligence for clients in industrial, power, water, and government end markets.
This role will support a diverse portfolio of environmental assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects across the region and requires deep familiarity with California environmental regulations and agency coordination.

Lead and manage environmental assessment and remediation projects from scoping through execution and closure, including Phase I and II ESAs, site characterization, remedial investigations, and remedial actions
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulators, subcontractors, and internal project teams
Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, proposals, and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance
Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance, including forecasting, invoicing support, and scope management
Coordinate and oversee field activities, including environmental sampling, monitoring, and contractor oversight
Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client relationship management, and identification of repeat and follow-on work
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering,Geology, Hydrogeology, or arelated field
Minimum of10years of experiencein environmental consulting, including site investigation, assessment, and remediation
Strong working knowledge of California environmental regulations, including DTSC programs, Regional Water Boards, and CEQA
Demonstratedexpertisein site characterization, environmental sampling methodologies (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air, sediment), and data interpretation
Salary Range:
At Verdantas, we offer comprehensive benefits packages for our employees. Actual salary is based on the circumstances of each position and candidate, such as geographic location, skills, and certifications. We recognize and reward exceptional performance and strive to ensure fair compensation across all roles and departments within the company. The minimum salary for this position is $130,000 (negotiable based on the criteria presented above).
