RWDI is a global engineering consultancy firm who are seeking a Sustainability, Energy and Climate Change Consultant to support the growth of our Sustainability services and expansion of our global sustainability presence.

Candidates should be passionate about sustainability, self-motivated and self-directed, collaborative, and able to produce high-quality work products. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and capacity to work on a wide variety of projects.
Location: India Office, but not essential. Hybrid working is available for this role
Key Responsibilities

Expand our service area and clientele in the sustainability, energy modelling and climate change resilience space across India & Middle East.. Coordinate the delivery of sustainability, energy, climate change, and circular economy services.

Work collaboratively with client teams and RWDI’s Sustainability Team to deliver high quality technical projects

Coordinate the delivery of sustainability, energy, climate change, and circular economy services with focus on sustainability, energy, climate change and circular economy.

Provide collateral material support for marketing initiatives of sustainability services across India & Middle East.

Positively promote the company in all dealings with clients and staff

Engage in thought leadership through public speaking and technical publications
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Energy or Sustainability. Higher Level Degrees considered an asset.

Five plus (5+) years of experience with consulting and project management in the Sustainability/ Energy/Climate Change industry with an established client base (within the private, public, and non-profit sectors) across India & Middle East..

Relevant certifications, e.g.: ESTIDAMA, MOSTADAM, IGBC, LEED, WELL, BREEAM .

Awareness of key climate change regulatory drivers, standards, and policies and both local (India & Middle East.) and regional (Asia Pacific) sustainability codes, incentives, and certifications

Experience, desire, and confidence to work in and contribute to project teams and to the growth of business in a dynamic market environment

Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically, analyse and synthesize diverse qualitative and quantitative data and information

Ability to collaborate remotely across geographies and platforms

Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide range of audience understanding

Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and co-workers

Well-developed interpersonal skills, maturity, credibility, confidence, and integrity

Experience in developing detailed proposals and negotiating scope and fees with clients

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional organizational capabilities
The following qualifications and skills will be considered a plus:

Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

Detailed knowledge of, or experience with materials management, circular economy standards and certifications, and zero waste best practices

Involvement with regional committees and organizations related to Sustainability/ Energy/Climate Change

Familiarity with corporate and commercial real estate facilities management practices.

Other certifications including LEED and WELL.
