The Business Analyst leads and delivers business analysis activities by eliciting, analysing, and translating stakeholder requirements into fit-for-purpose solutions that support portfolio, program, and project management outcomes and align with organisational P3M frameworks and governance models.
RequirementsWhat you'll do:
- Engage with stakeholders across PMOs and business units to gather, validate, and document business and system requirements
- Analyse current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for delivery teams
- Support alignment of systems and processes with P3M frameworks, governance structures, and strategic roadmaps
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution demonstrations to drive consensus and clarity
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented
- Support testing activities including UAT planning, execution, and validation of delivered solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across portfolio and project management practices
- Produce high-quality documentation including business cases, process maps, and requirements artefacts
What you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within project, program, or portfolio management environments
- Strong capability in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation (e.g. user stories, process maps, functional specs)
- Experience working within P3M frameworks, governance models, and delivery lifecycles
- Proven stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills across diverse groups
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively
- Experience supporting system implementations or enhancements
- Experience in government or secure environments (desirable)
