Our client in the Automotive Industry is seeking a Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join their team.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Environmental, or Science discipline.
- 4–7 years of professional experience in EHS Management.
- Strong expertise in EHS principles, compliance, and operational practices.
- Proven leadership skills with experience driving change and managing project teams.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities, including across international stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with national and global teams.
- Flexibility to travel frequently between two plant locations in South Africa.
Key Performance Areas:
- Lead and inspire EHS teams across two South African plants, embedding our Safety First culture at every level.
- Report on EHS performance nationally and internationally, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
- Implement and optimize EHS programs that meet both local compliance requirements and global standards.
- Drive risk management processes including hazard analysis, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
- Deliver impactful EHS training and empower operations teams to own risk reduction.
- Act as the key contact for internal and external stakeholders, including global partners and regulatory authorities.
- Champion continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned across sites and implementing innovative practices.
