As we continue to drive the transition to clean, renewable energy, we are seeking a Director of Call Center to lead our outbound sales and appointment-setting operations in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This role is pivotal in shaping the performance-driven culture of our call center and ensuring our teams consistently achieve sales and revenue goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage call center managers, supervisors, and agents, fostering a high-performance environment.
- Hire, train, and develop teams to ensure optimal productivity and professional growth.
- Set clear expectations, hold teams accountable, and create a strong performance-driven culture.
- Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, appointments set, close rate, and call volume.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance, implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to ensure the team meets sales and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align call center operations with company objectives and growth initiatives.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience leading an outbound sales or lead generation call center focused on setting appointments
- Proven leadership overseeing approximately 50 total call center staff (agents plus supervisors/managers)
- Experience managing call center performance using KPIs such as conversion rate, appointments set, close rate, and call volume
- Experience using data-driven performance management (daily/weekly/monthly reporting and improvement cycles) in a call center environment
- Native Spanish proficiency
- Business-fluent English proficiency
- Legally authorized to work in the Dominican Republic
- Available to work Saturdays as part of the regular work schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience hiring, training, and developing call center teams (agents and frontline leaders)
- Experience in the solar industry or broader renewable energy sector
