How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team:
The Site Representative is responsible for supporting third-party partners operating at TRCA facilities, safeguarding assets and ensuring operational requirements are met both during and outside regular operating hours. The role emphasizes excellent customer service by cultivating and sustaining relationships with clients and external vendors, while supporting events such as weddings, corporate meetings, and special functions that contribute to offsetting ongoing site operational expenses.
Major Responsibilities:
Monitors, resupplies and cleans washroom facilities and areas guests utilize before, during and following the event
Carries out snow removal and salting activities for outdoor walkways using non-motorized equipment
Sets up, cleans and dismantles chairs and tables for event support
Builds relationships with partners licensing or utilizing TRCA site/space while ensuring safety of TRCA assets.
Be available to third-party partners throughout the shift to assist them in achieving their goals
Ensures partners follow all TRCA protocols for site use
Provides staff support for operational requirements outside of regular site operating hours
Opens the site, and ensures it is closed and secured following the group’s departure
Implements all safety and security measures including responding to emergency situations
Liaises between partner groups, guests, TRCA staff and with onsite security where applicable, to address challenges
What will you need to succeed:
Education (degree/diploma/certifications/licenses)
High school diploma
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C Certification
Experience
1+ years of experience in customer/client services
Knowledge/Skill/Ability - Competencies
Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise communication in both non-emergency and emergency situations
Demonstrates responsiveness to internal and external customer requests and needs
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify problems in a timely manner, seeking the appropriate level of support to solve issues
Proficiency in MS Office suite including online software such as MS teams, WebEx, and SharePoint
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to manage time and work independently.
Ability to lift objects up to 20kg
Must be flexible to work all required shifts, including weekends, holidays, late nights, and early mornings
Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence in good standing
