Job Summary:
The IT Intern will gain hands-on exposure across multiple areas of the Information Technology department at Liberty Tire Recycling. This role is designed to provide broad, practical experience in Software Development, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, Infrastructure and Operations, and Information Security. The intern will work alongside experienced IT professionals and participate in real-world projects that support Liberty Tire’s business operations and technology initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Rotate across IT functional areas to gain a foundational understanding of enterprise IT operations.
- Assist with application development, testing, and documentation.
- Support data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Gain exposure to infrastructure, cloud platforms, and endpoint support activities.
- Assist with cybersecurity-related tasks such as access reviews, controls documentation, and compliance support.
- Participate in project meetings, team collaborations, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Provide general support to IT team members as needed to support ongoing initiatives and projects.

Education and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Prior coursework, academic projects, or internships related to IT are a plus but not required.
