Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Draughtsman (Solar / PV) to join the Port Elizabeth team,
· Preliminary system sizing and arrangement
· Complete detailed electrical designs for construction
· Preparation of engineering calculations and studies to support design activities
· Preparation of equipment specifications
· Preparation of construction specifications
· Standards and code compliance reviews
· Conduct inspections of under construction and operating solar plants
· Development of bespoke calculations and analysis tools
· Liaise with external technical firms when required
· Preparation of reports on system designs, metrics and assessed KPI’s
· Work with drafts in assistance of site drawings and specifications for existing and new clients
· Submit warranty claims
· Conduct site visits when needed to conduct firmware updates etc
