Job & Company Description:
As a Solar Sales Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between technical design and client needs. You’ll assess customer requirements, propose tailored solar solutions, and support the sales cycle from initial consultation through to contract close. This role offers uncapped earning potential and exposure to South Africa’s rapidly growing renewable energy market.
Education:
- BEng / BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Sales or commercial training advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 3–6 years’ experience in solar or technical sales
- Strong understanding of PV systems and energy economics
- Ability to develop proposals and financial models
- Proven client engagement and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working with EPCs and developers
- Results-driven, self-motivated mindset
