Summary
This position is located in Cape Cod National Seashore, in the Administration Division. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct support to the Administrative Officer and specialized support to the Administration Directorate and overall park operations. Duties span two primary administrative areas: housing management and human resources management.
Major Duties
Performs functions and duties directly supporting the Administrative Officer and overall park operations. Responsible for a broad range of administrative management work with principal duties in administration, personnel, and benefits functions. Supports Human Resources functions by entering personnel actions into personnel systems, assisting employees with onboarding paperwork, and troubleshooting HR-related issues for local employees and supervisors. Develops and conducts training related to Human Resources functions, including resume building, onboarding procedures, filing, payroll, and use of various agency HR software. Training may be delivered in classroom settings or through development of virtual, pre-recorded videos. Interacts with managers, supervisors, and staff regarding administrative services by attending meetings and/or serving on appropriate work teams or groups.
