How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?
As our new environmental planning manager, you’ll lead and inspire a team of highly skilled specialists in environmental impact assessment and planning approvals space across a diverse range of markets. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to collaborative seek solutions that help shape strong environmental outcomes and de-risk planning approval processes.
You’ll drive value and trust with clients, team and peers across Australia, work collaboratively with clients to deliver planning approvals and proactively respond to client needs, while expanding Aurecon’s market presence.
Here are the key things you’ll do:
- Provide expert advice on environmental planning matters to clients
- Drive complex NSW planning approval processes (including REFs and EISs) and lead early-stage environmental constraints and optioneering projects across Energy, Transport, Water, and Defence sectors.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments, including in-depth research and analysis of legislative requirements and environmental considerations.
- Lead collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative environmental solutions, ensuring project compliance, sustainability, and alignment with client strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and government authorities, influencing decision-making and expanding Aurecon’s market presence.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure delivery excellence and commercial success.
