Position Summary:
The Truck Washer is responsible for cleaning the different trucks, equipment, and machinery such as front load, rear load, roll-off, tractor-trailer trucks, etc.
Your Role:
- Wash all parts of the truck: engine, motor, and blade area.
- Safely operate the truck in a busy transfer station environment
- Yard Duties: keeping the area clean of loose debris.
- Waste Maintenance: Sweeping, emptying waste ins.
- Wash toters and various equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Skills:
- Ability to operate packer mechanism controls safely.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to receive and understand oral and written instructions from Residential Driver, Route Manager, and/or Dispatch.
- Reliable and dependable.
Requirements:
- Required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift.
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
