Job Description Summary
The Product Manager for AI at GE Vernova plays a crucial role in the development and execution of AI-powered products that transform business processes. This role is essential to our mission of pioneering AI-driven innovation and enhancing user experiences across the enterprise.
The Product Manager will work across GE Vernova and with the AI Portfolio Manager to identify, prioritize and build out AI products. These products focus on delivering improvements and value through the lens of the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) framework, measuring the impact of AI initiatives.
Additionally, the Product Manager facilitates cross-business coordination, leveraging AI applications to drive operational improvements and foster innovation across Vernova. Expertise in AI, combined with strong business acumen, is pivotal in translating complex technical challenges into strategic opportunities that propel the organization forward. These duties extend to not only internally developed solutions, but also to external suppliers (e.g. 3rd party software).
In addition to product management responsibilities, this role serves as the AI Foundry Site Leader for GE Vernova's Bangalore, India location. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity to help shape GE Vernova's AI presence in India — acting as the local anchor for the AI Foundry team, building a high-performance culture, attracting and developing top AI talent, and ensuring the Bangalore team is deeply connected to and contributing to GE Vernova's global AI mission.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and research, to develop and execute product roadmaps that align with strategic objectives.
- Roadmap Input: Provide input, alongside the Portfolio Manager, to build the product roadmaps.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, IT, and designers to ensure the development of robust AI solutions, maintaining technical rigor and introducing new methods for verifying success and identifying risks.
- User Experience: Focus on delivering exceptional user experiences by understanding and addressing user needs in AI applications.
- Cross-Business Coordination: Support the coordination of AI applications to drive improvements and innovations across Vernova.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to measure product performance and make informed decisions. Define and monitor metrics and KPIs to ensure the success and impact of AI initiatives.
- Post-Launch Support: Monitor product performance post-launch, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance value delivery.
- 3rd Party Solutions: Oversee the interjection of AI products coming from 3rd party software suppliers and determine best technology fit.
- AI Foundry Site Leadership (Bangalore): Act as the senior on-site leader for the AI Foundry team in Bangalore, providing visible leadership and serving as the primary local point of contact for the team. Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and technical excellence.
- AI Talent & Community Building (Bangalore): Partner with HR and global AI leadership to attract, develop, and retain top AI talent in Bangalore, helping to grow the site into a world-class AI hub for GE Vernova.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with GE/GE Vernova highly preferred.
- Business Acumen: Ability to integrate business strategy with technical initiatives.
- Leadership: Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
- Site Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a local team within a global organization, with experience building team culture and developing talent in a fast-moving technology environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and occasionally C-Suite executives.
- Experience building and deploying AI applications.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical skills to identify and solve risks and challenges.
- Technical Proficiency and Data-Driven Mindset
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be willing to work out of our Bangalore, India office
