About This Role
We are seeking an exceptional Enterprise IT Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise technology ecosystem. This role is critical in shaping how we leverage cutting-edge SaaS platforms, AI capabilities, and intelligent integrations to accelerate hyper-growth while maintaining a world-class security posture.
The ideal candidate is a strategic technologist who thrives on solving complex integration challenges, designing scalable automation frameworks, and driving business transformation through thoughtful architecture decisions.
What You’ll Be Working On
Architecting and governing the enterprise SaaS ecosystem, establishing standards for platform selection, integration patterns, and data flows across business-critical applications
Designing and implementing AI-powered automation workflows using modern integration platforms (e.g., MCP, Workato, Zapier) to eliminate manual processes and accelerate business velocity
Leading complex enterprise integrations across identity (Okta), workplace platforms (Google Workspace), security tooling (SIEM/SOAR), and core business systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM)
Defining and enforcing security architecture standards across SaaS applications, APIs, data governance, and access control aligned to zero-trust principles
Partnering with Security, Engineering, and Business Operations teams to design scalable onboarding and offboarding automation workflows
Developing architecture documentation, integration specifications, and technical standards that enable self-service and reduce operational bottlenecks
Evaluating emerging technologies (AI agents, LLM integrations, intelligent automation platforms) and building proof-of-concepts to demonstrate business value
Designing observability and monitoring strategies for the SaaS ecosystem, ensuring visibility into integration health, performance, and security posture
Leading vendor architecture reviews and serving as the technical authority in evaluating enterprise platforms and strategic partnerships
Translating business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions through strong cross-functional collaboration
Mentoring IT team members on integration best practices, API design, automation development, and modern cloud-native architecture patterns
What You’ll Bring to the Team
7+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise SaaS architectures in high-growth technology environments
Deep expertise in modern integration platforms and methodologies (iPaaS, API gateways, event-driven architectures, webhook frameworks)
Proven experience architecting AI/ML integrations and building automation using LLMs, intelligent document processing, or predictive analytics
Expert-level knowledge of identity and access management (Okta, Entra ID), including SSO, SCIM provisioning, and zero-trust architectures
Extensive experience with Google Workspace Enterprise architecture, including security controls, DLP, context-aware access, and custom integrations
Strong background in SaaS security architecture, including data classification, encryption, compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and threat modeling
Demonstrated success building integration frameworks that enable self-service while maintaining governance and security
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation scripting (Python, JavaScript, Terraform, or CloudFormation)
Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, Splunk, Elastic) and designing monitoring strategies
Experience partnering with DevOps/SRE teams in cloud-native environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders
Track record of driving business transformation through technology with measurable impact on efficiency and scalability
Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/GCP Solutions Architect, CISSP, Okta Certified)
Bonus Points
Experience architecting AI agent frameworks or implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations
Prior consulting experience with enterprise architecture engagements
Background in energy, climate tech, or sustainability-focused organizations
Contributions to open-source integration or automation projects
Experience scaling IT architecture in hyper-growth environments (e.g., 3x+ headcount growth in 12–18 months)
