We are seeking an experienced and
results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team in the dynamic and rapidly
growing solar industry. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving
sales growth, managing a sales team, and building strong relationships with
customers in order to promote and sell our solar products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and
increase market share in the solar industry.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to
achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including
prospecting and lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers,
including businesses, and contractors.
- Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to educate customers
about the benefits of solar energy and our products/services.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate
contracts with customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering,
operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market
conditions to provide insights and make informed sales decisions.
- Monitor and analyze sales data and metrics to track performance and
identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and
promote our company and products/services.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the solar
industry or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage effectively and
motivate a sales team.
- In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, including solar panels,
inverters, batteries, and related technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish
rapport with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to present effectively and negotiate sales
proposals to a diverse range of customers.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes and
strategies.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and
exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to
changing market conditions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity
tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
