Job Overview
Responsibilities include being able to supervise
Electrical /Instrument & Controls Engineering activities for multiple
projects. This includes checking of electrical, instrument & controls
project deliverables ensuring scope and standard/code compliant. Assign works
to team members at all stages of a project from Study, FEED, EPC detailed engineering
to mechanical completion / construction phase up to the commissioning stage.
Interact with clients, vendors, fabrication shop, project management and other
engineering disciplines to be able to get the tasks completed and resolve technical
issues/conflicts.

Responsibilities and Duties
Plan and
assign teams to develop project electrical/instrument & controls
deliverables. Review the deliverables providing technical input for safe and
workable design.
Liaising
with clients, vendors, project management and discipline engineers to ensure the electrical/instrument & controls teams
are aligned on projects scope & specifications.
Participate
in the P&ID reviews, model reviews with clients and internal disciplines to
represent Electrical/instrument & controls Engineering. Support in
performance test/inspection from electrical/instrument & controls or
delegate staff to cover.
Resolve
PHA/HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA/SIL action items. Check data sheets and RFQ/RFP and input
in the bid tab evaluation/meetings. Attend all electrical and instrument &
controls meetings.
Lead
teams of senior engineers/project programmers/electricians mentoring and
coaching to keep motivation/productivity level to optimum with quality. Plan weekly
assignments to keep balance of work among staff for effective control of
manhour/productivity.
Assists
with recruitment, training, and onboarding of junior engineers/technicians.
Ensuring
a safe, positive work environment with excellent problem-solving &
communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at
least 10 years of experience working with an Engineering, Procurement and
Construction company or similar.
Skill sets:
Ability to lead engineers and assign tasks.
Ability to work under pressure to deliver on schedule with quality.
Team player, professional, respectful with all
coworkers with good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Having a Professional Engineering License is preferred.
