Major Duties: The Engineering Equipment Operator Supervisor provides leadership within the Roads and Auto Shop of the Facility Management division at Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is directly supervised by the Branch Chief. The incumbent oversees all operational, maintenance and construction activities associated with the parks roads asset portfolio that includes paved and unpaved roads and signs dispersed throughout the park. The incumbent is responsible for all administrative needs and planning of day-to-day and long-term work for a diverse trade staff comprised of a: WL-10 Engineering Equipment Operator Work Leader, two WG-10 Engineering Equipment Operators, one WG-10 Equipment Mechanic, one WG-8 Automotive Worker and multiple seasonals. Incumbent serves as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on government construction and service contracts.
