Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals, bids, and tenders in response to client requests.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to understand their needs and develop effective proposals that meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales, engineering, project management teams and internal stakeholders to analyze project specifications, cost estimates, and project demands.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and company policies and procedures.
- Manage and prioritize multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all bids.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to minimize risks associated with bid submissions.
- Analyze and evaluate competitor bids to determine strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Continuously improve the bid management process, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members involved in the bid process or similar requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in bid management, with experience in the energy storage or renewable energy industry preferred.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and organizational skills
- Tender writing experience ideal
- Able to provide guidance to rest of the team and collaborators.
- Able to work to tight timescales particularly when developing proposals.
- Proactive in prioritizing own workload and assigned areas of responsibility to others.
- Able to influence assertively to get results
- Must be able to work independently, and work across many different functions including engineering, procurement, finance, accounting & legal.
- Good team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of proficiency with MS Office suite products. Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems are an advantage.
- Excellent Spanish and English language skills, any additional languages are a benefit.
