Consider joining ENDIPREV USA as an Offshore Wind Technician working on the Vineyard Wind Project off the coast of Massachusetts. This project is the first large-scale offshore project in the USA; it will consist of 62 turbines rising more than 800 feet out of the water! We are hiring experienced technicians to assist with the initial Mechanical and Electrical completion, High Voltage and Commissioning works.

Offshore Wind Technicians work 12-hour shifts in rotations of 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off. They work primarily on a vessel out at sea, so you need to have your sea legs! Some work may be done onshore at the Port before boarding the vessel. Your lodging, all meals, a daily per diem, and a daily offshore stipend is provided in addition to your compensation and all travel expenses.

Offshore Wind technicians work in small groups, on turbines that are in the middle of the ocean. They share living spaces with a diverse team of technicians from around the world. We are looking for applicants with these qualities:

·       Highly motivated, ready for a new challenge.

·       Hard-working and physically able to climb extremely high turbines.

·       Flexible with changing plans and schedules due to weather and natural emergencies.

·       Good communication skills, friendly and positive.

·       Humble; able to receive instructions from the project leads.

·       Excellent attendance habits.

·       Culturally competent.

·       Comfortable with heights, extreme temperatures, rolling seas, and helicopter flights.

What will you do?

·       Verify that the work is completed in compliance with customer’s requirements.

·       Document all work performed.

·       Follow all assigned Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.

·       Perform mechanical, electrical, high voltage, and commissioning work.

·       Submit progress reports.

·       Represent ENDIPREV to internal and external customers.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

 

All candidates must have a valid driver’s license or other State ID, be able to pass a drug test and a background check. You must be able to work an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse conditions within confined spaces at heights above 100 feet. Candidates must be able to work and manipulate 50 lbs. and demonstrate visual acuity including depth perception, field of view and ability to distinguish colors.
