About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic EHS Summer Intern to support our Environmental Health & Safety team during the summer season. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety & Health, or Safety Management who wants hands‑on experience in safety, ergonomics, and hazard analysis.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with developing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to identify and document workplace hazards.
- Support the completion of ergonomic assessments and contribute recommendations to reduce risk and improve comfort.
- Help enhance and potentially automate elements of our training program, depending on your programming or technical skills.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and general EHS initiatives.
- Perform data entry, reporting, and documentation to support day‑to‑day EHS operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Interest in workplace safety, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Preferred: Programming or automation experience (e.g., Power Automate, Excel macros, or other coding skills).
