Job Summary:
The Construction Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites to support project completion. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and handling materials and equipment as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general construction tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting materials
- Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris and hazards
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Support skilled workers such as carpenters, roofers, electricians, or plumbers
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers
- Help with assembling and disassembling temporary structures (scaffolding, barriers, etc.)
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- 2+ construction or labor experience (exterior home repair preferred)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Physically demanding environment
- May require early mornings, weekends, or overtime
