Description

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating the assigned commercial fleet to pick up and deliver commodities to various locations while maintaining and ensuring the fleet is in proper working order.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a variety of trucks, including forklifts, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and flatbeds.
Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.

Requirements

Qualifications – Required:

Valid class A, CDL and current medical card
Holder of CDL for minimum of 2 years
2 years of experience operating heavy duty commercial vehicles
Ability to operate a manual transmission
Solid knowledge of DOT FMCSA safety guidelines
Solid knowledge of safety processes and procedures
Ability to operate smart phone or tablet
Ability to drive to/from location to location and sit for most of shift in vehicle
