About the role
This role is responsible for turning Low Carbon Solutions from individual technical inputs into integrated, plant‑level offerings that customers can actually buy and execute. The position supports commercial opportunities by structuring realistic decarbonisation pathways, aligning CO₂ assumptions across product lines, and ensuring that integrated solutions hold together technically and commercially.
The role exists to make Low Carbon Solutions work in real proposals, real plants, and real decisions; not as concepts, but as deliverable solutions.
About the department
The Low Carbon Solutions (LCS) team works across product lines, regions, and sales to integrate technologies into coherent decarbonisation solutions for cement plants. The team supports the organisation by defining how different technologies come together, how CO₂ impact is calculated, and how these solutions are positioned and delivered in customer opportunities.
The department partners closely with Product Lines, Sales, Engineering, and Service to ensure decarbonisation ambitions translate into executable and commercially credible offerings.
Your Responsibilities :
Structure plant‑level low‑carbon solutions by combining multiple product lines into coherent technical and commercial pathways
Develop and apply decarbonisation pathways, including technology sequencing, dependencies, and CO₂ impact
Maintain consistency of CO₂ baselines, assumptions, and calculation logic across integrated proposals
Support development and use of standardized low‑carbon solution packages in customer proposals
Work directly on selected customer opportunities to shape solution scope and ensure integration holds together
Identify cross‑product dependencies, constraints, and risks early in the proposal phase
Prepare clear inputs for internal reviews, including trade‑offs, assumptions, and go/no‑go considerations
Support deployment of LCS operating model by working with Product Lines and Regions on real cases
Contribute to tracking and documenting LCS involvement and commercial impact in opportunities
You bring
Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
6 - 8 years of experience in process engineering, application engineering, proposal engineering, or industrial project environments
Hands‑on experience working with cement plants or comparable heavy industrial systems
Proven experience working across multiple technical domains rather than within a single product silo
Skills
Strong system‑level thinking and ability to structure complex, interdependent problems
Practical understanding of cement plant operations and constraints
Ability to work across product lines and challenge assumptions constructively
Comfortable translating technical detail into clear decision inputs
Structured, disciplined working style with focus on delivery
Nice to Have
Experience with CO₂ accounting, emissions reduction technologies, or carbon economics
Exposure to customer‑facing proposal work or commercial discussions
Experience working in global, matrix organisations
