This role oversees production control and material control for the BOBM Plant by leading operating plan development, aligning free demand with MSAP, Launch, Supply Chain, and plant teams, and ensuring accurate allocation, stable releases, and timely operating plan submissions. It supports daily and weekly scheduling, catch‑back planning, supplier follow‑up, and flawless material flow to the production line, while managing engineering changes, balance‑outs, JIT delivery, and finished cell inventory levels across in‑plant, stockpile, in‑transit, and obsolescence categories. The position is responsible for SAP MRP deployment support, data management and correction in ERP systems, and preparing accurate SQDCPME, policy deployment, and operating review reports. Additionally, it analyzes data to drive inventory and cost‑reduction roadmaps, assists in developing process and system improvements, and leads capacity planning by assessing demand changes, using GCP (Global capacity planning system) for part‑capacity validation, and coordinating with Purchasing, STA, Finance, and suppliers on capacity studies and tooling approvals.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do...
Production control and material control
Lead for BOBM Cell Plant Production Operation Plans (OP Plans)
Develop a Buildable and Efficient Operating plan for the Plant. Analyze free demand and work with MSAP, Launch, Supply Chain, Constraints and Plant team to develop the operating plan & meet demand
Ensure allocation accuracy and alignment with the Operating Plan
Ensue PTP/PTS/ Release stability targets are met and develop actions plans for any issues
Timely submission of the Operating Plan and ensure supplier release are published as per the agreed cadence
Liaise with the Plant and develop catch back plans in case of losses. Update releases based on daily Production performance
Liaise with MP&L OBS team/ NMP and provide accurate Assumption letter submission to sales capturing new launch and Balance out
Ensure day-wise / week-wise scheduling is done in line with capacities and constraints
Liaise with sales to get orders as per allocation and develop alternate plans in case of order shortfalls
Responsible for MIS reports (PTS/ PTP/ DPR/ PCM reports)
Follow up on supplier's material supply issues and make sure flawless materials' supply to production line
- ERP System Support: Support the MP&L MRP Development and Deployment Plan through the Explore, Realization, Test, and Hypercare phase of launching SAP
- Manage the department's forward model, including engineering change control and balance outs
- Just-in-Time (JIT) Delivery: Ensure just-in-time material flow to avoid production disruptions. Respond to customer changes, quality containments, shipping adjustments, and schedule changes
Inventory Management: Manage BOBM finished cell inventory levels to “Best In Ford” level, including in plant stock, stockpile, in transit, obsolescence etc… liaise with quality for maintenance and rework data tracking and alert system in time for quick actions
Data Management & Reporting:
- ERP System Management: Identify and correct data gaps in the SAP system
- Performance Reporting: Submit plant production performance reports to plant and division management. Assure accurate SQDCPME scorecards, policy deployment reports, and Plant Operating Review reports
- Data Analysis: Support data management and policy deployment objectives at the plant level. Develop inventory and cost reduction roadmaps for MP&L tasks.
System Improvement: Assist in the development of information and process systems.
Capacity Planning:
To understand near-term demand changes at Feature/Mix/Volume level
GCP [ Global capacity planning] system to be processed for variant level applicability of parts to identify capacity swap feasibility.
Coordinate with NA Purchase/STA& follow-up with suppliers for supportability confirmation through interim capacity study
Follow-up with finance for tool funding approval & with Purchase for Tool order kick off
QualificationsYou'll have...
Bachelor’s degree
At least 3 years’ experience in production planning management in large enterprises (materials, electronics, automotive and other industries).
Proficient in using office software, familiar with ERP or SAP systems.
Excellent data analysis ability.

Business/Engineering degree / MBA preferred
At least 5 years’ experience in large manufacturing enterprises.
Knowledge and skills: Familiar with the operation process of manufacturing enterprise warehouse, with the ability of quality management, process optimization and overall organization.
In depth knowledge & experience in OTD function
Proficient in ERP software such as SAP, Office software, excellent document writing ability.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on the candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
