Summary
This position is located in Independence National Historical Park, within the Administration and Business Services (ABS) Division. The position supports division operations by conducting research and analytical studies; providing administrative guidance to supervisors; supporting records and information management for the ABS Division; and assisting with property and general administrative functions.
Major Duties
Provides administrative support and guidance by researching and applying policies, procedures, and regulations to assist park management and staff. Participates in working groups to support the development and implementation of park programs, procedures, operating policies, and internal controls within a complex regulatory environment. Conducts administrative studies to assess operations, identify issues, and recommend improvements. Reviews and disseminates new or updated guidance and assists in developing internal procedures and resource materials. Develops and maintains administrative systems and processes, including tracking and records management. Serves as a liaison with the Servicing Human Resources Office (SHRO) to track recruitment and personnel actions and ensure timely coordination. Coordinates the park's onboarding and orientation program, including scheduling, tracking required training or clearances, and maintaining related records. Assists with internal control activities by reviewing records, identifying discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions to support compliance and accountability.
