Our client is a global organisation providing a range of engineering, construction, and maintenance services. Due to their business growth in APAC, we are partnering with them to look for an Environment Analyst (APAC) based in the Singapore regional office.
TheEnvironment Analyst (APAC)supports theEnvironment Project Leadin advancing The Companyâs environmental strategy across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. This role ensures accurate data reporting, enhances carbon accounting practices, and fosters both internal and supplier engagement in sustainability initiatives.
Job responsibilities
Environmental Reporting & Data Accuracy
- Collect, validate, and analyze environmental data to ensure reliability and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Support the development and refinement of dashboards and KPIs for tracking energy transition, resource preservation, and biodiversity performance.
Carbon Accounting & Modelling
- Contribute to improving carbon accounting procedures and trajectory modelling tools.
- Identify key emission sources and support reduction planning within business operations.
Internal Engagement & Awareness
- Support internal environmental initiatives, campaigns, and training sessions to raise awareness and drive employee participation.
- Assist in deploying The Company's Academy environmental training modules.
Supplier Engagement & Collaboration
- Support the rollout of Supplier Environmental Engagement Programs across Singapore and APAC.
- Monitor supplier environmental performance and progress on commitments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the APAC Environment team to integrate decarbonization strategies into operations.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, including developing green offers and carbon footprint tools.
Environmental Awards & Recognition
- Support the Environmental Awards program by promoting participation and coordinating submissions from business units.
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelorâs degree (or currently pursuing) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of carbon accounting frameworks (e.g. GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
- Familiarity with environmental reporting tools and sustainability metrics.
- Exposure to corporate sustainability or environmental initiatives is a plus.
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to adapt to different audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and synthesize multiple data sources.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English required; other Asian languages a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Asia-Pacific and to Europe (HQ).
