BSR islooking fortwotalented internsto joinourSustainability Managementteam, based inthe Copenhagen office,forFallof2026.
As part of the Nordic and globalteam,you will work closely with BSR staff to address current business challenges and develop solutions to some of today’s most important global sustainability issues.You will have the opportunity to gainhands-on experience of sustainability management and consultingin thefield of Sustainability Business Transformation,by supportingprojectsand member relationshipsdirectly withBSR member companiesacross industries as well asour portfolio of collaborative initiatives.
Responsibilities
The internwill have the opportunity togain experience in the following areas:
- Research and analysis:Conduct primary and secondary research onsustainabilitytrends, regulation and corporate practices across markets and stakeholdersforBSRmembers.Perform rigorous qualitative analysisand research,conduct benchmarkassessments,and develop summaries on key sustainability issues.
- Advisory services:Collaborate with the BSR team to work with members and clients across several industries and topic areasincluding materiality, sustainability strategy, reporting,equity, inclusion & justice,nature / biodiversity,climate, and multi-stakeholder collaborations, tosupport the workonourconsulting projectsandcollaborative initiatives
- Writing and communication:Supportthe developmentofclient deliverables includingPowerPointpresentations,written reports,and briefs targeted at a business audience,and develop materials to be used in internal and external communications.
- Business development andmember engagement:Liaise with local and global teams on BSR member engagementand help drivethe BSR Nordicbusiness development planbypreparingforBSR membermeetings and events,participating in member meetings and events, helpingRelationship Leads coordinate member engagementsandresearch,andmember asks follow up andtaking notes
- Subject-matterand industryexpertise:Depending oninterest and/orpreviousexperience, interns will also have an opportunity to expand their knowledge in oneof BSR’sFocus Areas.

- Benchmarking ofcompanies againstsustainabilityperformancecriteria
- Organization ofmemberevents in Copenhagen,Stockholm,andOsloand virtual convenings for our globalnetwork
- Research formemberprojects onhumanrights,sustainabilityperformanceframeworks,metrics andgoals, climate & naturetargetsand transition plans.
- Contributeinwritingbriefs on keytopics (e.g.COPor Climate Action Weeksoutcomes)
Qualifications
Internship candidates should have a strong interest in working with companies to integrate sustainability into business strategies and further BSR’s mission to create a just and sustainable world.Internship candidates must be enrolled in a graduate/Master program at a Danish institution andmustbe eligible to receive credits/points (ECTS) for theinternship.The internship isin-office andfull-time for a period of sixmonths starting inAugust2026. BSRoffers interns a monthly recognitionstipend.
Theapplicantshouldbeavailablefull-time,startinginAugustfor theduration of six months,and meet the following criteria:
- Education at a Danishinstitution.Must be enrolled in a relevant graduate/Master program(e.g.,law, sustainability, sustainable development, communications, climate change, environment, economics)at a Danish institution and be eligible to receiveaminimum of15ECTS credits.
- Skills:The candidate should have exceptional research, presentation, organization, facilitation,communication,and interpersonal skills.
- Technicalexpertise:Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)required;graphic design skills are highly desirable.
- Languages:Fluent in English; fluency in one Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) is a plus.
- Experience:Strong interest and experience in the broader sustainability landscape and trends.Previousstudentassistant experience withsustainability work from aconsultingcompany oraninternationalcompanywill be highly appreciated.
