Kickstart your engineering career with 360 Engineering & Environmental as a Junior Engineer and get ready for a role that’s anything but ordinary. Based out of Ottawa but working on projects that span across Northern Canada, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting real construction projects in dynamic, remote environments. From tracking daily progress and organizing field data to collecting samples and contributing insights that help guide project decisions, you’ll be right in the mix; learning, growing, and making an impact from day one. If you’re detail-oriented, curious, and excited by the idea of blending office coordination with hands on field experience, this is your chance to build a strong foundation in a fast-paced, supportive team.
Make a Difference
Coordinate and prepare daily construction reports, including labour, equipment, and material (LEM) tracking, progress updates, and site documentation (photos, logs, and reports)
Collect and manage environmental soil and sediment samples in accordance with field programs
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Support QA/QC activities, including coordinating testing, inspections, and client approvals
Assist with subcontractor and supplier coordination, including invoice review, procurement support, and schedule alignment
Maintain project documentation such as contracts, change orders, submittals, and cost tracking records
Update and monitor project schedules, lookaheads, and performance metrics (KPIs, productivity, earned value)
Prepare weekly progress reports, monthly invoices, RFIs, and change documentation
Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to support project delivery and communication
Ensure accurate data management and reporting using company tools and systemsLead and champion a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of health, safety, and quality across all areas of operation
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, while fostering continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory and external client requirements
Showcase your Education & Expertise
Existing experience in construction industry or a related on-site construction role
Familiarity with cost control, and remote logistics
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Proficient in a scheduling software (e.g. Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) considered an asset
Experience with Power BI considered an asset
Valid Class 5 driver's license and willingness to travel to remote and challenging project sites
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A strong team player who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and sharing knowledge
Having a good sense of humour and strong admiration of our Mullet Culture is always an asset
