Hourly Rate: $42/hr
Per Diem: No per diem
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 0800 - 1600 | 40 hrs/week
Project Scope
The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager will oversee contractor safety at a large, active manufacturing facility. With contractors continuously present on-site, this individual will spend significant time in the field performing safety inspections and monitoring daily contractor activities.
This role is responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with site safety standards and will collaborate closely with multiple trades, including mechanical, electrical, maintenance, and chemical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Program Development & Implementation: Create and manage HSE programs to prevent injuries, illnesses, and environmental incidents

Incident Management: Investigate workplace and environmental incidents and implement corrective actions

Compliance & Improvement: Ensure compliance with internal and external HSE requirements and identify areas for improvement

Training & Communication: Develop and manage HSE training plans while maintaining relationships with stakeholders and the community

Systems & Tools: Implement systems to support staff and contractors in maintaining HSE compliance

Audits & Reporting: Ensure HSE procedures meet compliance standards and resolve audit findings within required timelines

Management & Leadership: Drive risk management programs, achieve HSE goals, and effectively manage direct reports
