About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Solar Purchasing Specialist with prior experience in the electrical contractor industry to lead our procurement efforts and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate all company purchase orders requested via calls, texts and emails
- Place orders with local and online vendors, verifying material availability and pricing
- Coordinate will-calls and deliveries with vendors and/or warehouse staff
- Research pricing to obtain best value
- Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers of electrical materials
- Track, document, and submit credit card receipts for purchases
- Process and track returned items to vendors
- Develop and implement purchasing processes and strategies to increase efficiencies and cost-effectiveness for the company
- Oversee the procurement process for electrical parts/stock, from order placement to timely delivery
- Collaborate with project teams to understand and fulfill electrical procurement needs
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or Manager in the electrical industry, preferably with an electrical contractor
- In-depth knowledge of electrical parts procurement strategies, processes and best practices
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external electrical suppliers
- Service Titan experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive problem solver who is able to switch tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish and maintain professional, positive relationships with both customers and coworkers
Compensation & Benefits:
- $55,000-$80,000; commensurate with experience

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $55,000 - $80,000 per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
