Remove and Replace Solar is seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Installation Crew Subcontractor to support our expanding project workload throughout Denver, CO and the Front Range. WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE
This 1099 contract position offers a flexible on‑call schedule driven by project availability.
As our Commercial Solar Installation Crew Subcontractor, you'll oversee and complete commercial installations in accordance with engineered plans, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance from start to finish. You'll guide your crew through equipment handling, roof preparation, panel mounting, and system verification, all while maintaining roof integrity and proper waterproofing. Each day, you'll be responsible for delivering clean, precise workmanship and confirming that every installation meets project standards before closing out the job.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A COMMERCIAL SOLAR INSTALLATION CREW SUBCONTRACTOR?
We're looking for someone who can meet the following qualifications:
- 4+ years of solar installation experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- General Liability insurance
- Workers' Compensation insurance (or valid exemption)
- Commercial Auto Insurance
- Proven residential new install experience
- Experience on pitched and multi‑story roofs
- Ability to lead a crew
- Ability to read and follow engineered plan sets
- Operate as a 1099 independent subcontractor
Light commercial experience, electrical troubleshooting, experience with inspectors/electricians, NABCEP, and a Colorado Journeyman Electrician license are preferred.
