Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Support:
- Assist in the preparation and review of electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
- Support the design and layout of substations, switchgear, and medium/high-voltage cabling.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and compile bills of materials for electrical components.
Project Documentation:
- Help compile technical specifications, reports, and documentation packages for client and contractor submissions.
- Maintain version control of design and construction documents.
- Track and organize test results, certifications, and site inspection reports.
Site & Project Assistance:
- Support site inspections and construction supervision under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Help coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams during project execution.
- Assist in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for EBOP components.
Learning & Development:
- Stay current on industry standards, electrical codes (IEC, IEEE), and renewable energy technologies.
- Participate in internal and external training programs to build technical and safety knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in electrical systems, preferably in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings, schematics, and standards.
- Basic knowledge of MV/HV systems, substations, or grid connection principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, ETAP, or PowerFactory is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow procedures.
