Major Duties
Supervise personnel conducting watercraft inspection and decontamination as part of a park wide aquatic invasive species monitoring and prevention program. Coordinate and supervise volunteers and agency partners associated with the aquatic invasive species monitoring and prevention program. Facilitating visitor contacts to enhance public understanding of the threat of aquatic nuisance species and the role of the public in park resource protection and supervising others conducting this task. Encourage visitor behavior consistent with resource use and management of park resources in support of the NPS mission and supervising others conducting this task.
