Summary
This position is located in Gulf Islands National Seashore, in the Facility Maintenance Division. Open to the first 100 applicants or until 04/06/2026 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.
Major Duties
As a Construction Control Representative, you will perform the following duties: Reviews and interprets construction documents, specifications, photographs, foundational documents and other existing documentation. Reviews construction project scopes of work and construction estimates. Developments cost estimates, statements of work and/or scopes of services. Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative to oversee the execution of design and construction contracts. Facilitates meetings, monitors project progress and coordinates with project stakeholders to address unforeseen conditions. Tracks project budget, monitors project sites for safety, conducts inspections on completed work and performs project closeout activities. Reviews project plans and specifications prior to construction contracts. Coordinates construction work planning and scheduling with contractors. Tracks contract costs and modifications. Attends pre-bid, bid-opening, and pre-construction meetings to discuss and clarify construction details.
