Summary
Position is located in Olympic National Park, in the Facility Management Division. This is a Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment.
Major Duties
Utility Systems Repairer-Operators (USRO's) are responsible for assisting in the efficient repair, maintenance and operation of water treatment facilities, water distribution systems, large on-site septic (LOSS) wastewater collections systems, lift stations, and ancillary equipment. Read meters and check monitoring devices, pressure switches, gauges, pumps, motors and troubleshoot and reset switches and breakers. Assist with the collection and processing of water samples in the operation of a state certified lab, performing bacteriological analysis following Quality Assurance/Quality Control requirements. Assist in sewage pumping operations, scheduled and emergency water and wastewater system repairs.
