About This Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Development Engineer to support the mechanical and electrical scoping of projects for our power systems. This critical role will drive project execution, ensuring all electrical systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, execute within project timelines and budgets, and contribute to the successful deployment of cutting-edge technology solutions.
What You’ll Be Working On:
Project Planning Support: Support the development phase of comprehensive project plans, including technical design, equipment and material specification ensuring budget and schedule alignment.
Contribute to regular project status meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Power Plant Initial Design & Engineering: Contribute to the design and specification of mechanical and electrical systems for Power systems projects, including but not limited to power generation equipment, transformers, and switchgear.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
Develop and review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in industrial environments, with a preference for experience in power generation and distribution.
Experience in power plant or substation design is highly advantageous.
Power System Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of power systems, control systems, and safety standards.
Experience with electrical equipment design, procurement, and installation.
Familiarity with relevant industry codes and regulations (e.g., NEC).
Proven ability to be a contributing member in a high performing team
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Flexibility to travel to field locations up to 25%, or as required.

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $XXX,XXX -$XXX,XXX + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
