If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About This Role:
Crusoe is seeking a Warehouse Lead: Structural & Building Materials to anchor our vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Arvada, CO. This role is the backbone of our fabrication process, managing the heavy-duty materials required to build the physical shells of our AI-optimized modular data centers.
You will oversee the flow of structural steel, specialized metal sheeting, and building envelope components, ensuring our fabrication teams have exactly what they need to meet production milestones. This role is critical to maintaining a lean, high-velocity manufacturing environment where safety and material precision are paramount.
What You’ll Be Working On:
Structural Material Inventory Management Oversee the intake and organization of large-scale structural components and bulk raw materials. Ensure all inventory is stored in safe, stable environments and maintained according to weight-load and stacking safety standards to prevent damage or material degradation.
Heavy-Duty Kitting & Schedule Alignment Lead the kitting process for structural assemblies and framing components. Ensure that production teams receive 100% accurate material packages, including all required hardware and sub-components, delivered in strict accordance with the Production Schedule.
Sub-Assembly & Cross-Functional Coordination Manage the flow of Work-in-Progress (WIP) structural units by working closely with Production and Engineering teams. Ensure that large-scale assemblies move seamlessly through the facility, from initial framing to final staging or shipping.
Technical Quality & Pre-Kitting Inspection Perform meticulous technical inspections of structural materials and hardware prior to kitting. Verify dimensions, material grades, and quantities against the Bill of Materials (BOM) to identify defects or discrepancies before they reach the assembly line.
ERP Data Integrity & Root Cause Analysis Maintain absolute accuracy within the ERP system for bulk and high-value structural items to prevent procurement delays. In the event of a variance (e.g., miscounted stock or missing kits), lead the root cause analysis to identify the failure point and implement corrective actions.
Procurement & Vendor Alignment Partner directly with the Procurement Department to coordinate vendor deliveries. Manage the intake of "Just-in-Time" (JIT) deliveries for large-volume orders to optimize yard/warehouse space and ensure production never stalls.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Experience: 6+ years of warehouse experience, specifically in heavy manufacturing or structural fabrication environments.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced experience with ERP/MRP systems for tracking high-volume raw materials.
Equipment Mastery: Current forklift certification; experience with side-loaders or overhead crane operation is a major plus.
Safety Leadership: Deep knowledge of OSHA standards for heavy material handling, rigging, and overhead load safety.
Physical Strength: Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate a high-activity fabrication floor for 8+ hours daily.
Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
Bonus Points:
Experience specifically with steel fabrication shop workflows.
Rigging certification for crane operations.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S or Kanban.
