The Land Solutions Intern position will support project teams working on transmission and renewable energy infrastructure projects. This role provides exposure to the land acquisition process that supports critical infrastructure development across the United States. The intern will work closely with the Land Solutions team assisting with project support, research, and data management related to transmission lines, substations, and renewable energy facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Land Solutions team on active transmission and renewable energy projects
- Assist with auditing and organizing project records within Atwell’s internal L Drive, ensuring documentation is structured, complete, and accessible for project teams
- Provide project support by reviewing and organizing landowner records, project documentation, title information, and acquisition materials
- Conduct basic market and project research related to land ownership and project documentation
- Participate in project kickoff discussions and gain exposure to the land acquisition lifecycle, from project planning through project close-out
- Assist with additional administrative and project coordination tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Real Estate, Energy or Environmental Studies, Geography/GIS, Urban Planning, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review and manage project documentation
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
