Position Summary
Area Finance Director for IMC Outdoor Living; a subsidiary of Liberty Tire Recycling an industry-leading $900 million service and manufacturing business with distribution and manufacturing locations across the USA and western Canada. Exciting opportunity to exercise financial oversight for the IMC Outdoor Living business and partner with Operational and Sales management on the business growth strategy and achievement of annual objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial oversight responsibility for IMC Outdoor Living operations (includes Ogden, UT, Godfrey, IL, Live Oak, FL, Mosinee, WI)
- Management of the revenue cycle to achieve accurate and timely billing, revenue recognition, and collections
- Oversight for monthly accounting close process and upstream reporting to Executive and business unit management
- Support and closely partner with Executive and business unit management with financial tools, unit cost information, and profitability analysis
- Manage annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Lead the inventory control management process including the coordination of physical and cycle counts and maintenance of inventory control procedures
- Provide direct leadership to accounting staff, including hiring, mentoring and performing annual reviews
- Prepares supporting documentation for external auditor requests and interfaces with external auditors when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from accredited institution
- CPA (active status) and/or MBA preferred
- 10+ years public/private accounting work experience
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Accounting software experience, preferably Great Plains or other ERP platform
- Accounting background that includes strong cost accounting, production and inventory exposure
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
