This position is located in Joshua Tree National Park, in the Division of Maintenanc This is a Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment.
Major Duties
Major duties include: Supervises Roads section handling the maintenance requirements for all paved and unpaved roads within Joshua Tree National Park. Manages annual budget consisting of appropriated funds and fee revenue based project funding. Creates workplan for Roads section to include annual maintenance requirements. Manages response to snow fall and monsoonal rain damage that occurs within the park. Acts as a contracting officers representative for complex road construction projects.
