Provence Area – France: A renowned vineyard and Relais & Chateau in the heart of Provence is seeking an experienced sustainability farm manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will focus on managing our flocks, in building healthy soil, conserving water, enhancing biodiversity, and reducing reliance on non-renewable resources, aiming for a balance between ecological health, economic profitability of plants and animals.
He/she will manage our Shepherds and organise the day to day of the farms in order to offer good living conditions to our animals, maintain pens & equipment secured & healthy and make sure our farms are up to standards (visitors coming daily).
He/she will interact with our Vines & Forests Directors to best plan grazing across our lands & vines.
He/she will be responsible for building up flocks and help us growing our farming activities by improving our environment, managing costs and by promoting a happy & welcoming farm.
The successful candidate should be passionate about sustainable agriculture, adaptable, and committed to high-quality, responsible farming.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to speak, read and write in Franch
- EU citizenship or valid EU work visa essential
- Agricultural Degree / Diploma
- Passion or experience with Sustainable, Organic farming highly advantageous
- Ability to come up with ideas on how to best manage costs and organize the farms
- Computer Literate
- Ability to manage both livestock and crops (mixed farming).
- Previous livestock experience (chicken, goats, sheep etc.)
- Strong management and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and work with a team.
- Being maintenance orientated essential.
- Valid driver’s license
