ERM France is seeking a motivated Intern to support the Nature & Water team from June to end of August / early September 2026.
What you’ll do
We have a global client base, and you will be exposed to an international environment.
You will contribute to project delivery across ERM’s Nature & Water offering under direction of a project team, including:
Identification and evaluation of nature dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities based on leading frameworks
Benchmarking and alignment of exercises related to TNFD, CSRD, CDP, AWS, EUDR and other regulatory and voluntary frameworks.
Site level Biodiversity Actions Plans
Nature / Water strategy development: commitment, actions, targets
Water availability and water quality assessments
Mapping water related risks, dependencies, and strategies across supply chains and operational assets
Water stewardship plans, replenishment pathways, and stakeholder engagement materials
Scenario analyses
Sustainability reporting
Value chain mappings
By joining our team as an intern, you will have the opportunity to discover and/or deepen your knowledge of the Nature & Water topics, contributing through:
Conducting targeted research on nature, water, biodiversity, regulations, and best practices
Assisting in preparing presentations, reporting materials, and structured deliverables for clients
Contributing to proposal materials, background notes and client-ready analyses.
Work will be carried out in English and/or French, depending on the assignment.

The five drivers of biodiversity loss and their implications for corporate strategies.
Emerging disclosure and regulatory momentum around Nature, Water and ESG.
Cross-sector projects (energy, pharma, consumer goods, industry).
Multi-disciplinary teamwork across ERM’s Nature, Water, Climate and Sustainability practices.
What we are looking for
Master’s student in environmental science, ecology, hydrology, environmental engineering, natural resource management or related disciplines.
Strong analytical and research capabilities, with interest in impacts, dependencies, risk assessment and nature/water strategy.
Ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
Interest in leading Nature frameworks (GBF, TNFD, IPBES, SBTN), water stewardship, and biodiversity management.
Languages: French and English (level C1), international experience appreciated.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
You MUST be able to sign an internship agreement with your university for the duration of the internship.
Who you’ll work with
You will be based in our Paris office (located in the 12th arrondissement) as part of ERM’s Corporate Sustainability Southern Europe Business Unit team, focusing on helping companies to create long-term value by managing the opportunities and mitigate Nature and Water-related risks and other sustainability issues.
Corporate Sustainability is a service with a unique blend of strategic, operational, data & analytics and technical expertise and knowledge.
