Environmental Scientist
FRAME Technical Services, LLC seeks entry-level through Subject Matter Expert level Environmental Scientists The successful candidates will be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individuals who can work well on a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment.
Position location: Richland, WA and hybrid available
Schedule: Full-time and Part-time available. Typical work schedule is a 4x10 working Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities Include:
Professional training and relevant experience specific to this scope of work are required. Task-specific or unique qualifications include:
- Experience applying RCRA requirements to Hanford projects
- Experience writing RCRA closure plans, with documented experience addressing Washington administrative Code (WAC) 173-303-610
- Experience preparing permittee comments during public review periods for large permit renewals at Hanford or similarly sized sites
- Experience evaluating and comparing closure strategies in relation to Tri-Party Agreement requirements
- Applying your experience in planning, authoring, and designing CERCLA remedial investigations and remedial actions.
- Playing a lead role authoring and facilitating client/agency reviews of cleanup decision documents.
- Assisting in defining strategic approaches for cleanup, closure and organizing and reporting groundwater and soils data.
- Cooperatively working with DOE, Ecology and EPA in meetings and workshops.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver license
- BS/BA in Geology, hydrology, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
